The College of Veterinary Medicine, Mississippi State University, is seeking applications for a Clinical Track position in Small Animal Emergency Medicine.
Teaching responsibilities will include didactic and clinical training for veterinary professional students, graduate students, veterinary medical technology students and house officers enrolled in the academic program. Service responsibilities involve emergency duty, primary and secondary clinical case management, and consultation with private practitioners. The emergency clinician will be expected to take a leadership role in improving the quality of the MSU-CVM Animal Health Center Emergency Service, enhancing the quality of patient care and teaching in our Emergency/ICU senior veterinary student rotation, and consulting with our affiliated clinics to improve patient care. Participation in research projects and continuing education programs is also expected.
Qualifications include DVM or equivalent degree, and extensive experience as a small animal emergency veterinarian.
Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
