Animal Urgent Care is the first and only veterinary urgent care facility in Northwest Indiana. We recognized the need to fill the gap between primary care veterinarians and 24-hour veterinary emergency centers. Many pets that present to an emergency center do not require hospitalization or ICU care. Like urgent care facilities in human medicine, Animal Urgent Care offers high quality, state of the art in-house diagnostics and real time urgent care at a cost much lower than a veterinary emergency center without an appointment.
Animal Urgent Care offers immediate veterinary care that is easier and more affordable than the ER. Our office hours are Monday - Saturday 4pm-12am, Sundays 12pm-8pm with the last patient checked in 30 minutes before closing. We are closed all major holidays. We do not offer wellness/preventive care or overnight hospitalization. There is a 24-hour emergency center less than 6 miles from our location for referrals, we are less than 50 miles from MedVet Chicago, and within 1.5 hours of Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
All of our technicians are licensed.
We are looking for a part-time associate (16-20 hours).
