Tired of working for the candy company? Have you been sold out to the wolves of Wall Street? Do you want the long-term security of practice ownership or want the autonomy of working for a privately owned hospital?
We have two levels of positions available: one leads to practice ownership and the other is associate focused.
Our hospital has been corporate free since 1976 and we intend to remain that way. We’re looking for a veterinarian that wants to practice quality medicine and diagnose and treat their own cases. Our on-site CT, endoscope, digital x-ray, ultra-sound and video otoscope are all used daily. These diagnostic tools are expertly run by dedicated, highly trained veterinary technicians. Our “get it done” team makes veterinary medicine efficient, fun and rewarding.
Our doctors are surrounded not only by highly competent technicians but also key support professionals. Our hospital manager is a business graduate of Texas A&M, our financial officer earned an accounting degree from Trinity University and our legal counsel is a graduate of SMU Dedmen School of Law. Surrounding ourselves with highly dedicated professionals allows veterinarians to do what they do best – medicine!
Our modern, new 7500 sq. foot hospital is located in a rural West Texas town where traffic jams are non-existent and nature is abundant. School districts are small and highly regarded and the cost of housing is very reasonable.
For those who want to be a financial and thought leader in veterinary medicine, the opportunity is here.
We are looking for an individual with a passion for veterinary medicine and surgery. We can teach you everything else!
About Big Spring Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital
Big Spring Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital is a state of the art veterinary hospital located in West Texas. On site we have a full blood work station, ultrasound, digital x-ray, CT, and other diagnostic tools. A cornerstone of our culture is continuously reinvesting in our hospital's equipment and training for our veterinarians and support staff. We do this by bringing specialists directly to our hospital to train us as a team and attending our regional conferences as a team. We strongly believe in providing the highest quality of veterinary care, which includes diagnosing and treating on sight, whether that be through a lifelong prescription or surgery. Due to our ability to diagnose and treat onsite and our practice style of continuously reinvesting in our equipment and training, our hospital has been chosen to be one of the 14 core teaching hospitals with Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine. We are honored to be apart of training the next generation of veterinarians and supporting our noble profession.
