“Variety is the very spice of life, that gives it all its flavor”- William Cowper, 1785. While we are a few hundred years ahead of this phrase, our ideology for mixed animal practice is the same! Our practice has been serving the Park County community for nearly 50 years and we strive to continue this tradition for many years to come. If you are seeking employment with a diverse caseload, forward thinking team, and beautiful scenery, then look no further!!
Who: We are a team of 3 veterinarians looking to add a fourth doctor to our practice. We have an excellent support team of hard working, fun-loving, down to earth folks who are all on the same mission: excellent customer service and comprehensive patient experiences.
Where: We are the luckiest people alive. We get to live in the most beautiful mountainous country just 50 miles from Yellowstone National Park. If you enjoy fishing, hiking, skiing, biking, horseback riding or just existing in God’s country, come join us!
What: We are absolutely a mixed animal practice. Some days are full of the normal stuff with small, furry types; others involve mountain treks to remote ranches to treat colic. No two days are the same, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! The job is a pro-sal position, meaning we start you at a logical base and pay you production when you earn above your salary. Our weather isn’t always glamourous, but we’ve got haul in facilities for both horses and cattle to do our best to stay out of the weather in addition to our fully functional small animal hospital. We do share after hours on-call work and commit to be flexible to keep us all sound of mind! Additional benefits include: AVMA membership, Wyoming VMA membership, plus one professional organization membership of your choice; professional liability insurance coverage; $1,500 towards CE plus 5 days paid time off for CE; 10 days paid vacation plus 3 days of paid sick leave, health insurance bonus, and simple IRA retirement plan plus a match.
Why: Why do we do this? We are in this for the animals and their humans- through the thick and thin, joy and grief. We know that life ain’t always beautiful, but we find the beauty in serving our clients and their animals every day.
