We offer a diverse list of services to meet lots of needs. Our practice is centered on the philosophy of Community medicine. That means that we strive to be a functioning member of our community and therefore try very hard to meet the needs of that community. As the needs change, so do our services. Initially we began as a large animal only practice providing services for the farmers, producers and horse owners. We no longer offer those services, but we are still serving those in the community with the smaller critters. Little by little the community called for more and we had to adapt. In 2009, we were approached by the Stanly Co Humane Society to assist with their work in spaying and neutering animals that were in need of homes. That project snowballed until in 2011 we made the jump to a Spay Neuter clinic offering low cost services to the public. The response was great and the demand for a broader array of small animal services was being requested on a daily basis. .
Below is a general overview of services we currently offer to our clients:
- Routine wellness exams and vaccinations
- Sick visits and emergency care (daytime emergencies)
- Elective surgeries like spaying and neutering
- In house laboratory testing for CBC and Chemistries.
- Digital radiography
- Declawing (front only)
- Puppy/litter care (including deworming and tail docking)
- Pregnancy ultrasound
- Arthritis care
- Laser therapy
- Allergy testing
