Job Brief:  We are looking for a Veterinarian to join our Summit Team to help provide the best possible care for our clients and their animals.  Our clinic focuses primarily on dogs and cats.  

Responsibilities Include:  
 Perform regular and preventative health examinations of animals
 Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases
 Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
 Implement and coordinate treatment plans for animals by providing detailed explanations     for their owners
 Perform dental, ophthalmic, soft tissue, spay, and neuter surgeries **If uncomfortable with   surgery this can be discussed/modified.
 Prescribe medication
 Manage emergency medical situations by stabilizing an  animal’s condition and determining  whether a referral is necessary
 Provide animal owners with estimates for all procedures to ensure that final costs are communicated effectively
 Promotes health of animals by advising animal owners about sanitation measures, feeding, and general care
 Documents actions by completing and updating forms, reports, and animal records 

Work hours and location:  
 VERY FLEXIBLE.    Can hire: full time, part time, or relief shifts.   ALL vet’s encouraged to apply.    
  Our clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8 am -6 pm and Saturdays 9 am -1 pm.  We are closed Wednesday and Sunday.  
  We are located in Princeton, TX.  

Requirements and Skills:  
   Effective communication skills
   Compassion, patience, and love for animals and their well-being
   Problem-solving skills
   Knowledge of animal behavior and safety
   Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
   Ability to multi-task and perform diligently in a fast-paced environment 
   Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
