Linden Heights Animal Hospital, located in Winchester, VA is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team! All experience levels are welcome to apply. Our clinic would provide an excellent environment for veterinarians interested in practicing the highest level of medicine and surgery. Our doctors all have varied interests, which we highly encourage and support.

Located 70 miles west of Washington D.C., Winchester is a beautiful small town located in the Shenandoah Valley and is home to the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, which recounts the areas rich history. There are many attractions including the 1790’s Glen Burnie House and landscape gardens. Old Town Winchester is filled with shopping, dining, and the beautiful Jim Barnett Park which includes a lake, arboretum, and sports facilities. 

Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, endoscopy, and ultrasound. Linden Heights Animal Hospital has a phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care.

Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. All our patients undergoing anesthesia have per-op lab work and receive an IV catheter, IV fluids, and are carefully monitored and recovered by our skilled surgical technicians. 

Our practice is open Monday – Friday, 7 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 1 pm. We offer our doctors flexible scheduling, have an hour for lunch, and have generous time reserved for writing medical records and for client communication. We can be flexible with scheduling but would ideally like someone open to Saturday rotations. There are no on-call responsibilities. Qualifications:

• Virginia Veterinarian – active and in good standing
• All Experience levels considered
• Ability to work a rotational weekend schedule is preferred
