Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency and Referral is ready to welcome a Third and Fourth full time boarded, or residency trained Criticalist to join our Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
This is a hospital that places a high value on its employees. The environment at BVER is very supportive and our focus is to develop and maintain a positive culture. We strive for excellent medicine and excellent patient care. We are privately owned and locally managed. We are determined to be part of the solution within our profession. The fully equipped and staffed ER and ICU will help you to manage all your cases to the highest standard. Our ideal candidate is collaborative, self-motivated, enjoys community outreach and is willing to promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture.
BVER opened its doors in August of 2022, and we have grown rapidly. The hospital is a 17,000 sq. ft facility with plans to expand in size and in our offered specialty services. We provide referral and emergency services to much of Oregon. Our specialties include 2 Surgeons, 2 Internists, 2 neurologists, 7 day a week imaging services, 2 Criticalists and a full team of ER doctors! There is no general practice associated with the hospital, but we do have a 7 day a week Urgent Care Department with 3 doctors.
We have daily case rounds each morning to provide an opportunity for continuous learning. We have in-house education for doctors and technicians. The support staff is highly trained and enthusiastic about continuing education as well. This position offers clinicians a unique opportunity to work in a growing, well-equipped, state-of-the-art facility, side-by-side with a skilled group of specialists and ER colleagues. It’s a tremendous environment to continue learning and growing!
Our partnership with Lakefield Veterinary Group is a long-term relationship dedicated to compassionate veterinary care. We are building communities of talented and like-minded veterinarians that will embody our core values of Respect, Wow Service, Learning, Fun, and will always Do the Right Thing. There is no greater reward than strengthening the human/pet bond. It is our responsibility to go beyond the borders of our local legacy and provide expert level veterinary medicine to pets all over the world during our annual trip with World Vets. We invite you to come experience the Lakefield family.
