This is a one-year program including structured skills and knowledge development as well as supervised emergency practice. Participants will be mentored directly by highly experienced emergency clinicians (most with 10+ years of experience in a specialty hospital environment) and board-certified specialists. Our Emergency Mentorship positions are available at Bay State Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Services (BSVESS) in Swansea, Massachusetts in partnership with Ocean State Veterinary Specialists (OSVS), a large and busy 24-hour emergency and specialty referral center located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
