How You'll Make an Impact:
As a full-time Associate Veterinarian, you'll join one or more of our full-service veterinary clinic across the Northern California regionand provide the highest quality health care for small animals. As our expert veterinarian the services you'll provide will include general wellness, traditional medicine, complementary medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, orthopedic surgery, exotics, and dentistry for our community pets.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, VetnCare is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000, dependent on experience and location.
This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills sets, experience and training, licensures and certifications, education, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
SUMMARY: The Associate Veterinarian provides exceptional service and support to our pet patients, pet families and serves as a positive example and helpful resource for doctor and support staff colleagues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advanced General Practice
Maintains a full clinical caseload, including surgery and dental procedures, and provides exceptional pet care and pet parent experience in line with VetnCare’s values and AAHA standards.
Collaboratively participates in daily rounds with the hospital team.
Maintains composure and empathy when resolving pet parent questions and concerns, collaborating with hospital leadership and staff on the best possible resolution.
Positively collaborates with hospital leadership to build and maintain hospital key processes and SOPs such as, client communications, safety and compliance practices, billing and recordkeeping SOPs.
Clinical Regulatory Compliance
Ensures proper clinical cleanliness, compliance and safety standards are adhered to in line with AAHA recommendations.
VetnCare Community Culture and Engagement
Maintains a professional, welcoming, and accessible presence towards all team members in the VetnCare community.
Collaborates with clinical leadership to collaborate and assist with education and training of local team members and occasional community wide initiatives.
Positively leverages negative patient outcomes for learning opportunities for all.
