This position qualifies for the USDA Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program Region TX251. We are looking for a full-time mixed animal veterinarian with an opportunity to partner/own your own private veterinary practice.
We are seeking a passionate Mixed Animal Veterinarian to either own or partner with a Veterinarian in our thriving rural veterinary practice. As a Mixed Animal Veterinarian, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of animals, including small companion animals, equine, bovine, and other farm animals. You will play a key role in providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary care to both individual pet owners and agricultural clients.
There is substantial potential for growth in all aspects of this rural practice. Small Animal Facilities: Two exam rooms, surgery room, equipped with DR radiology, Abaxis Lab, ultrasound and Midmark Dental equipment. Large Animal Facilities: CR radiology, enclosed horse stocks and stalls, ultrasound, Abaxis Lab equipment, and large animal squeeze chute with working pens inside and outside.

Critter Care Vet Clinic – Childress, Texas is in the heart of the Texas rolling plains. We are 116 miles southeast of Amarillo, 139 miles northeast of Lubbock, and 108 miles northwest of Wichita Falls at the intersection of Highways 83 & 287. Childress County human population is 6,664. This is a thriving rural practice with one veterinarian, two front office staff, two veterinary assistants, and two staff to clean and maintain the premises. Currently there is one veterinarian with the potential for another mixed animal veterinarian who is interested in livestock, horses and exotic animal medicine and surgery. The current veterinarian/owner is nearing retirement age and would like to partner and/or sell the practice.
