REPORTS TO: Executive Director STATUS: Full-time POSITION TITLE: Shelter Veterinarian SCHEDULE: Flexible Schedule (40 hours) San Antonio Pets Alive (SAPA) is seeking a full-time veterinarian proficient in both internal medicine and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is eager to help homeless animals get a second chance to have a loving family. The SAPA veterinarian conducts high volume, high-quality medical care for shelter animals. Surgical proficiency requirements include but are not limited to spay/neuter, mass removals, eye enucleations, and limb amputations.
